ABOUT JIAWEI
Jiawei Shen is a Los Angeles-based film composer known for his unconventional approach to scoring. He has composed original music for several feature films, most notably Zhi Qi and Gone With the Boat.
A recipient of the prestigious BMI/Jerry Goldsmith Film Scoring Scholarship, Jiawei’s work has been featured in award-winning films selected by major festivals including the Dublin International Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival, and Beijing International Film Festival.He is also the founder of the Chinese Composer Community.
Most recently, he contributed music to Resurrection, directed by Bi Gan, which received a Special Award at the 78th Cannes Film Festival in 2025.
